So, a while back, I was in town, filming some parkour with a friend, when some dick in a hoodie on a bike rides up to us and starts threatening mugging me, with his hand up his hoodie. So he's threatening to stab me if I don't hand over my phone, and I'm completely paralyzed. All I could think was, "He's not mugging me. I've got a camera. An expensive one at that! Why would he go for my phone? And his hand's up his hoodie? Who would keep a knife there? I bet he hasn't even got one. He hasn't, I know it... But what if he has..." and so on and so forth. And then after a seemingly long time, he stopped being serious and said "Nah, only kidding." Got back on his bike and rode away.
The comic is what would've happened if I'd been more gutsy, and less "frozen to the spot".

Well, that's good. Actually, even if he didn't have a knife he could have just attacked you. But, you had friends there, so that would have been dumb. Plus, although you had a camera he may not have understood the value of a camera vs. a cell phone; an object he relates to every day.

Anyway, glad you weren't really mugged.

Yeh. I did have one friend with me, but the guy had 6 or so like, 30 metres away, so it would not have been bad either way, had he not been joking.
