Ok, something in Comicfury has spazzed up, and all the comics are gone. I don't know why, I don't know how, but they are. So just don't panic, bare with me. I haven't stopped making comics, and I haven't stopped this webcomic, this is just temporary. When everything's fixed, I'll take the blog posts off the front page and you can read the comics again.
Tell you what though, I'm gonna be pretty fucking pissed off if they've lost all the files, because I'm going to have to upload 235 comics all over again. And that will take AGES, even with the relatively quick system they have at Comicfury...
Ok, I haven't updated this in ages, and I really should've, since I said I was going to post a link to the website when it was done, and it's been pretty much done for like, a month now. My bad. Anyway, here's the link, for anyone who's interested: http://www.tims-art.co.uk . Hope you like it. It's got a whole bunch of stuff that I've done, like animations, some film stuff I've done, paintings, and a store! You can actually buy merchandise from me! Woo! There's almost everything I sell at the Bicycle Bazaar there, with the exception of one badge design, and it's probably gonna end up that the website has more stuff available on it than I can actually bring with me to the Bicycle Bazaar.
Also, we've hit the 100th and 150th comic now! Woo! That's pretty cool. And as I said in the comments of the 150th comic, I have officially left compulsory education, but I've still got loads more comics that I drew at school left to upload, so school and exams and stuff are still gonna be common themes in the comic for a while, and then I'm back in Sixth Form in September, so yeh, school's still relevant.
I'm currently in the process of setting up a new website where you can buy t-shirts that I've designed, as well as "This is Normal" related books. It won't replace this webcomic, not by a long shot. Comicfury is a helluva lot better for doing this than the sitebuilder I'm using to create this new website.
To fill you guys in, because I figure most people won't know, most months, I go to a thing in my town called the Bicycle Basket Bazaar, where you basically display and sell stuff from a bike. And what I do there is sell t-shirts, badges, books of TiN, among other stuff that we sometimes get, and we (as in me and my dad) are looking to try and make more from the comic, and the t-shirts and stuff. I'm basically hoping to get to the point where I'm self-sufficient from this webcomic and the merch that's related to it.
But first, I have to start small, and this website is the first step in that. When it's done, I'll post a link to it.
I just saw that I've had over 1000 views by over 200 people! You guys are all awesome! :D
Keep checking back everyday for the latest comic! I'll probably do something special for the 500 unique views mark.
Hey, on the complete off-chance that someone from Northampton, England reads this, on the 30th January, I'm going to be at the Fishmarket Bicycle Bazaar, selling t-shirts and books of comics. The first book contains a lot of what's been posted here, but a few extras, and the other contains almost all-new comics.
So, yeh. If you could make it, come by, say hi, maybe buy, and that'd be awesome. :)
