Sorry about the unannounced week break from comics. Work's been eating a lot of my drive recently, particularly when it comes to digital made art.

But yeh, Theresa May is now the British Prime Minister, the second female Prime Minister in our history. She, like Gordon Brown, has taken the post of premiere without a single vote being cast for or against her, so I'll be somewhat surprised if she makes it to 2020 without having to call an early general election.

One thing I do find funny about her cabinet choices is the idea that Boris was all ready to move out of the limelight, only to be dragged back into it in his appointment as the Foreign Secretary. He helped make this whole stupid Brexit mess the UK is in, only fair that he should stick around and try to make it work.

Also, the dissolution of the Department for Energy and Climate Change, what the hell's with that? Did May forget the Paris Treaty was a thing? Now the job's split between the Environment and Rural Affairs Department and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy which just means it's going to take extra effort to get those two to work together when they both have other tasks to get distracted by. So yeh, as if the culling of solar and wind subsidies wasn't a big enough step backwards, there's that now too. Managing energy needs and preventing climate change are inseparable tasks.
